As previous blog entry, VW have finalise details about taking Porsche under them. By end of this year, VW will pay 3.3 billion Euro to buy 42% of Porsche. They plan to complete the deal by 2011.
I would like to see that Porsche will still be making good cars in the future. VW merger should let them continue their 911 range, as it’s they icon car for the Porsche badge. Read more info, links below. Thanks!
Well, I don’t know the details, I will just summaries the picture of the merger I understand from reading other articles online.
As everyone know, Porsche had bought a ton of Volkswagen shares and in somewhere May 2009, they acquired over 51% of VW shares, so they “own” VW in a way. Now, because of bad debt of Porsche from some company, the CEO has been fired. Leaving VW to pocket the Porsche name as one of it’s subsidiary companies like Audi, Bentley, Bugatti & Lamborghini, just to named a few.
Porsche workers should be able to keep their jobs. Everyone is happy.
Aston Martin have released this picture. Apparently is their Cygnet Concept. A few high-end luxury exotic company have their own small city car. This car is Aston’s answer to city travelling with the touch of AM feel. Very cute looking, I am sure it is fun to tour around town in this. The catch? Some say that you need to have a full fledge Aston before you can get your hands on one. So if their make this in the near future, only tai tai (rich man’s wife) will be in one. Enjoy!
